Katie & Robby

I am so thankful for the short drive between here and Nashville. When Katie got engaged it was all I could do not to jump in the car and race right to her, but a few weeks later I was able to make the trek and capture some pictures of her and her new husband-to-be. I am glad I was able to get to know Robby even more with this photo shoot. He dressed up. He posed. He smiled. He looks at my best friend like she is the only woman in the world. He passed the test. Now for some pictures... I will begin with the one where Katie looks so happy I could cry. Could I be any more excited for you two? I think not.

The rest of the pictures are top secret Christmas card photos but I had to share a quick shoot with one of my favorite couples, Melissa and Chris. Don't worry, you will get to see some more of them and Melissa's cute little baby bump in some upcoming maternity shots!

Birmingham Keepsake

Michael and Jessica are dear dear friends of ours through law school. They will be flying home to Dallas when they graduate so they wanted some pictures to capture their time here in Alabama. Fall is Jessica's favorite season and campus is their "happy place" so we headed to Samford to fulfill their request to take a little piece of Birmingham with them!

I met Jessica through work, and after getting to know her, it was no surprise when she told me she was going to elope one weekend! They met, fell in love, and the rest is history... here are some shots of them after they returned as husband and wife.
