Mary Scott | Mobile, AL

I got to hang out with Beth and Mary Scott for a quick mini session in our back courtyard yesterday.

I've been dying to shoot someone's picture back there, 

and it made the perfect backdrop for the sweet dress Beth wanted Mary Scott photographed in. 

It was made by her grandmother for a recent wedding, 

and the gorgeous handiwork plus Mary Scott's beautiful brown eyes made me feel like I was photographing a precious baby doll!

Avery | 1 Year

Since Miss Avery turned one year the same week as my little one, 

it was only fitting that we bring out the blue chair and find a garden for her!

Her sweet smile and the fact that this family is friends with our friends in Atlanta 

made for a fun and easy morning shoot!

Charley | 1 Year

Charley is all grown up since the last time I saw her at just 5 weeks old.

I was excited to meet Taylor and Chrissy to freeze frame their family now that she is one,

and Charley didn't hold back the smiles for me!

She knew how to work the camera!

I got to play in a sunny little field of grass with this beautiful family last week.

I immediately fell in love with Miss Charlotte's fuzzy head of hair, 

and she had me laughing with her funny faces and occasional yawns. 

She even struck a pose clasping her hands together- maybe begging me to finish up the shoot? :)
